Having met the criteria (see Subspecialty Certification) to sit for the oral examination in a subspecialty, candidates must submit the completed application along with all of the specified documentation prior to the deadline date(s) established by the AOBOG.

This is a 4 hour oral examination based upon:

	general knowledge of the subspecialty
	the candidate’s log of subspecialty activity (to download the Instructions for preparation of logs, right click and select "Save Target As" for your subspecialty Maternal Fetal Medicine Reproductive Endocrinology Gynecologic Oncology
	the candidate’s defense of his/her published paper
