Osteopathic Continuous Certification in a SubSpecialty

Re-Certification Examination

The recertification examination in MFM, RE, and GO is designed to assess the diplomate’s fundamental knowledge as well as up-to-date practice-related knowledge referable to current clinical practice guidelines and procedures as performed by the subspecialist.

Recertification must be successfully completed by December 31^st of the expiring year of subspecialty certification. The physician will not be consider Board Certified after the expiration date until the recertification process has been successfully completed.

*NB: Certification and recertification are granted by the American Osteopathic Association and maintenance of continued AOA membership in good standing is required.
