BOARD ELIGIBILITY

Candidates who have initiated the certification process prior to July 1, 2009 (i.e. submitted an application for the primary certification written examination or the subspecialty certification oral examination), are exempt from the following board eligibility requirements, therefore there is no time-frame requirement to attain certification and no requirement to establish Board Eligibility.  If board eligibility status is desired, candidates meeting this criteria may establish the status provided six years from the completion of residency/fellowship training has not elapsed.
